On May 20, 2016, Ms. Ling-qiao He, the chief librarian of ZJU Law School attended the seminar in Beijing, which is themed “‘Internet + Law’ —the revolution and innovation of legal information application and”, at the invitation of the Legal Information Center of Peking University.

On the sidelines of the seminar, Ms. He, the chairman of the Law Libraries and Legal Information Research Society of Beijing Law Society and chief librarian of Tsinghua University Law School Li-ying Yu, the Deputy Librarian of Renmin University Law School Liu Ming and Ms. Ye Guo from the Legal Information Center of PKU had a group meeting concerning the preparatory work of the 5th Chinese and American Forum on Legal Information and Law Libraries.

Ms. He introduced on-going preparations including setting up the CAFLL conference website, selecting meeting places and meeting sponsors, and applying for WeChat public account etc. Then, other participants put forward some suggestions according to their related experience. After more than two hours of discussion, the theme and sub-theme of the forum, the participants and the list of the experts invited are basically decided, and following work was divided.

    This meeting is the first face-to-face communication after telephone communication and remote communication between Chinese-US organizing committee for many times, short but meaningful for holding the forum.
