The Fifth Biennial Conference of Chinese and American Forum on Legal Information and Law Libraries (CAFLL) Planning Committee Meeting in Shanghai

On October 14, 2016, Zhou Jianghong, Vice President of Guanghua Law School of Zhejiang University, He Lingqiao, Chief Curator of Guanghua Law School , and Chen Xiang visited the Library of East China University of Political Science and Law in Shanghai for the planning meeting for the upcoming 5th Biennial Conference of Chinese and American Forum on Legal Information and Law Libraries (CAFLL). Chang Yongping, Party Secretary of the Library of East China University of Political Science and Law, Wu Zhihong, Deputy Curator of the Library of East China University of Political Science and Law, Qian Chonghao, Deputy Curator of the Library of East China University of Political Science and Law, and Zhao Yue, Director of the Administrative Office met collegially with the delegation from Zhejiang University .

During the meeting, Ms. He briefed on the progress made and problems arising during the preparation process for the Conference  to be held at Guanghua Law School of Zhejiang University in June 2017. Delegation of the East China University of Political Science and Law Library provided valuable suggestions based on their prior experience of successfully hosting the Third Biennial Conference of Chinese and American Forum Legal Information and Law Libraries. Mr. Zhou Jianghong, on behalf of Guanghua Law School of Zhejiang University assured that this international conference would receive strong support from the leaders of Guanghua Law School of Zhejiang University. This meeting helped to flesh out useful details in the preparatory process.  Librarians of Zhejiang University sincerely appreciated the help from their colleagues at the East China University of Political Science and Law Library.

 The preparation of 5th Biennial Conference of Chinese and American Forum on Legal Information and Law Libraries (CAFLL) will be in full swing after the meeting. We are confident that the Conference will go smoothly with close cooperation between the Library of Guanghua Law School of Zhejiang University and the Law Library and Information Research Institute of Beijing.
