Jiang Bo, Associate Professor Librarian, graduated from Southwest Normal University in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in library science. In 2008, he received a master's degree in computer engineering from Jinan University. He is currently the deputy director of the Library of the Southwest University of Political Science and Law, the member of the Steering Committee for Academic Libraries of Chongqing, the committee of the Library Society of China (LSC), and the trustee of The China Society of Indexers (CSI).

At present, the statistical methods of library electronic resource usage can be divided into four categories: click statistics, switch’s log statistics, resource service platform statistics and proxy service statistics. There are various deficiencies in these methods. And through AJAX technology, we can achieve a new statistical method to overcome the shortcomings of the current statistical methods to achieve the objective and accurate statistics. The method uses cloud computing technology to achieve unified authentication and user unique identification. Through AJAX technology, to build embedded components, to achieve electronic resource retrieval, download, browse and other statistical functions. The advantages of this method are: statistical objects and statistical results can be customized; applicable to a variety of different local area network, Internet and mobile Internet environment; statistical results are objective, fair; does not affect the reader experience and library service.
