Zhao, Xiaohai (赵晓海) is CEO, Member of the Board of Directors, and a founder of Chinalawinfo Co., Ltd. He graduated from Peking University, where he majored in economic law and, in 1989, received an LL.B. After graduation, he stayed at the university to engage in research and to teach courses in legal information. He received an LL.M. in jurisprudence from the university in 1996. He began to develop legal information databases in 1987. In 1995, he served as Director of the Center for Legal Information of Peking University and created the earliest legal database in China: www.chinalawinfo.com. In 1996, he helped found Chinalawinfo Co., Ltd."
